Job Title: Retail Sales Department HeadLocation: DubaiSalary: Up to AED 30,000Job Code: 310/001/073Industry: Food DistributionJob Brief:We are seeking a highly experienced Department Head Retail Sales to lead and drive sales performance across modern trade channels. The role involves managing key retailer relationships, achieving revenue and profitability targets, and building a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will bring strong FMCG expertise, extensive modern trade exposure, and proven success in managing large-scale key accounts.Job Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, Gross Profit (GP), and Net Profit (NP) targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with leading retailers.Lead contract negotiations, trade agreements, and annual business development plans with key accounts.Monitor sales performance, competitor activities, and market trends to identify new business opportunities.Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure the successful execution of promotions and product availability.Drive product listings, visibility agreements, and in-store activations to maximize brand exposure.Manage trade marketing budgets efficiently and ensure strong return on investment (ROI).Take full ownership of sales profitability, ensuring consistent achievement of GP and NP targets.Lead, coach, and develop the retail sales team to deliver sustainable growth.Job Requirements:Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing (MBA preferred).Minimum 10 years experience in FMCG / food distribution, with at least 5 years in modern trade management.Strong network and established relationships with key modern trade decision-makers.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large-scale accounts.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
