Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strengthen customer relationships to support long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Proactively identify and address customer issues to reduce churn.
- Understand customer needs, usage patterns, and challenges to deliver tailored support.
- Guide customers on product features and best practices to maximize value and adoption.
- Monitor at-risk accounts and implement retention strategies to secure renewals.
- Collaborate with account management, support, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Gather and relay customer insights to improve products, services, and overall retention efforts.

1. UAE Market Awareness
- Understanding of customer behavior and expectations in the UAE, especially across multicultural segments.
- Familiarity with UAE business norms, service standards, and customer service culture.
2. Multilingual Communication (Highly Valued in UAE)
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, Malayalam) are strong advantages due to diverse customer demographics.
- Ability to switch communication style to match customer cultural background.
3. Strong Customer Retention & Negotiation Skills
- Ability to handle cancellation requests and present compelling alternatives.
- Skilled in save strategies, loyalty programs, and offering UAE-market-aligned incentives.
4. Cultural Sensitivity & Customer Etiquette
- UAE customers expect professionalism, politeness, and respect.
- Ability to adjust tone depending on nationality, age, and cultural expectations.
5. Excellent Relationship-Building Skills
- Able to maintain long-term customer relationships to improve loyalty.
- Understanding of loyalty behaviors specific to the UAE, where convenience, responsiveness, and trust are key.
6. Compliance Awareness
- Familiarity with UAE regulations such as:
Consumer Protection Laws
Data Privacy (PDPL)
Sector-specific compliance (banking, telecom, insurance) - Ensures transparent and ethical customer retention practices.
7. High Resilience & Professionalism
- Ability to manage demanding or high-profile customers.
- Calm handling of escalations and VIP clients, common in UAE service sectors.
8. Target-Driven Mindset
- Comfortable working with KPI-driven environments like retention rate, save rate, FCR, and CSAT.
- Motivation to contribute to customer lifetime value and reduced churn.
9. Tech & CRM Proficiency
- Experience with CRM systems and telephony platforms widely used in UAE call centers.
- Comfortable handling digital channels (email, WhatsApp, live chat), which are frequently used in the region.
10. Flexibility in Work Schedules
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when needed, especially in retail, hospitality, and telecom industries.
11. UAE Experience Preferred
- Prior experience working in the UAE or GCC is an added advantage due to familiarity with regional customer service norms.
