Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of rigging equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement rigging plans based on project specifications, ensuring optimal load distribution and secure lifting methods.
- Coordinate with site management and other trades to ensure seamless integration of rigging activities into overall project schedules.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of rigging gear, ensuring all equipment is in top condition and ready for use.
- Prepare accurate reports on rigging operations, equipment usage, and safety incidents for management review.
- Ensure all rigging operations are executed in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any rigging-related queries or issues on site, promoting clear communication among all stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in rigging or crane operations is preferred.
Proven experience in leading teams, showcasing strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Strong technical knowledge of rigging equipment, including slings, hoists, and cranes.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety practices on job sites.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
