Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise rigging crews during lifting operations, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed and all team members are well-informed.
  • Perform thorough inspections of rigging equipment, identifying wear and tear, and ensuring compliance with industry standards before use.
  • Plan and coordinate complex rigging operations, including load calculations and equipment selection, to optimize efficiency and safety.
  • Develop and implement training programs for junior riggers, fostering a culture of safety and skill enhancement within the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering or related field is preferred for advanced understanding.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on rigging experience in construction, oil & gas, or marine environments is essential.
  • Relevant rigging certification (e.g., NCCCO, CIC, or equivalent) is required to validate expertise in rigging practices.
  • Proven track record of leading teams, showcasing strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage diverse crews.
