Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the RISK ANALYST:
- Identify, assess, and analyze risks associated with engineering and construction projects across all phases
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize impact
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate risk management into project planning
- Monitor risk factors and provide regular risk reports and dashboards to senior management
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk analysis using advanced software tools such as @Risk, Crystal Ball, and Microsoft Excel
- Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and contingency planning
- Support decision-making by providing risk insights and mitigation recommendations
- Facilitate risk workshops, training, and awareness programs within the organization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis when risks materialize
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in risk analysis within construction or engineering sectors
- Expertise in risk assessment software such as @Risk, Crystal Ball, and proficiency with MS Excel and Power BI
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of UAE regulations and international risk management frameworks (ISO 31000)
- Proven ability to work independently and lead risk management initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
