Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
This role supports the housekeeping team in maintaining clean, comfortable, and well-presented guest rooms and public areas throughout Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel Dubai. The position focuses on creating a consistently pleasant guest experience through high housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Replenish amenities, linens, and guest supplies
- Maintain cleanliness in corridors, elevators, and public areas
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
- Handle carts, cleaning tools, and housekeeping equipment
- Report maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor
- Ensure safety practices, hygiene standards, and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Organize workstations and maintain housekeeping storage areas
- Move, lift, and carry items up to 22 kg
- Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good communication and customer-service mindset
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team
