Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Rotary Foreman supervises and leads technical teams in the execution of maintenance and repair works on rotary equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality completion of tasks.

Responsible for leading technicians during dismantling, reassembly, alignment, lubrication, and testing of pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating machinery in Oil & Gas projects.

  • Lead crew for preventive and corrective maintenance of rotary equipment
  • Supervise coupling alignment, shaft replacement, bearing change, and vibration checks
  • Ensure torqueing, bolt tightening, and flange connections are performed correctly
  • Support hydro testing, commissioning, and startup activities
  • Maintain tools, equipment logs, PTW compliance, and safety checks
  • Coordinate with Rigging, QC, and Planning teams for smooth operations
  • Report daily progress, equipment status, and any technical issues to Supervisor

Tools & Technical Expertise

  • Dial/laser alignment tools
  • Torque wrench, hydraulic jacks, and lifting equipment
  • Vibration monitoring tools

Knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance

Desired Candidate Profile

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical

5 8 years experience in Oil & Gas rotary equipment maintenance or shutdown projects
