Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Manager located in Sharjah. The Safety Manager will oversee and implement health and safety policies in the workplace, conduct safety training programs, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include investigating workplace incidents, identifying hazards, implementing safety measures, and promoting a secure and healthy work environment. The Safety Officer will also collaborate with teams to monitor and improve safety practices across all operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

* Degree in Engineering

* Proficiency in Health & Safety regulations and ensuring compliance

* Experience with Occupational Health and Accident Investigation

* Strong knowledge of Security practices and protocols

* Ability to conduct and deliver effective Safety Training sessions

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

* Certification in Health and Safety or relevant field is preferred (NEBOSH / IOSH)

* Experience in the Roads and infrastructure sector for atleast 5 years.
