Role Summary

We are seeking a Safety Officer to join our team in Fujairah. This role requires candidates with port or maritime experience and a deep understanding of safety protocols in high-risk environments. The successful candidate must hold a NEBOSH IGC certification and demonstrate strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with port safety standards and UAE regulations.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and risk management strategies specific to port operations.
• Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for port workers and ensure understanding of all safety measures.
• Investigate accidents or incidents, preparing reports and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
• Maintain accurate documentation of safety procedures, incident reports, and training records.
• Ensure that all personnel follow PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and enforce safety compliance across the site.
