Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Within the regional finance department, the Sales Administration & Collections Manager ensures complete control of the "Order-to-Cash" cycle. In this capacity, they are responsible for order tracking, invoicing, monitoring outstanding balances, and customer payments.
MAIN MISSIONS
- Sales Cycle Management
- Administration: Order registration, verification of customer solvency and compliance with contractual conditions.
- WIP (Work In Progress) monitoring: Monitor current orders, services not yet invoiced and ensure the rapid transition from "in progress" status to "billable" status.
- Billing: issuing complex invoices, managing billing milestones (down payments, work progress reports, balances) and credit notes.
- Cash Collection and Management
- Monitoring DSO (Days Sales Outstanding): Analyze and track the evolution of the average customer payment period. Implement actions to reduce this period.
- Customer follow-up: Manage preventive and corrective follow-up (phone, email, mail) to minimize payment delays.
- Financial dispute management: Identify the causes of non-payment (pricing errors, administrative disputes) and coordinate the resolution with the sales team.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Aged balance: Weekly analysis of the aged balance and reporting to the finance department.
- Cash flow forecasting: Participate in the development of cash flow forecasts based on the order book.
- Participate in the evolution of the ERP and the implementation of new tools.
Desired Candidate Profile
You have some initial experience in finance, ideally in the services sector, and wish to develop in an international environment.
You have some knowledge of accounting (DSO, WIP, trial balance) and have worked on an accounting ERP (knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus).
Advanced Excel skills are essential (pivot tables, complex formulas for monitoring outstanding balances and indicators).
Organized, versatile and autonomous, your interpersonal skills and team spirit will be major assets for successfully completing your missions.
