Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Sales & Business Development Engineer

Location: UAE
Industry: Oil & Gas / Industrial Services
Reporting To: Division Head

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales & Business Development Engineer to drive business growth, revenue generation, and market expansion for our core industrial services, including:

  • Boiler Repair & Maintenance

  • Metallic Expansion Bellows (Design, Supply & Installation)

  • Chemical Cleaning Services

  • Fabrication of Skids & Piping Systems

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, converting leads into profitable orders, and building long-term client relationships across the UAE & Oman markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Industrial sectors across UAE & Oman

  • Generate enquiries and convert them into profitable business orders

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and EPC contractors

  • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and technical discussions

  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual revenue targets

  • Develop market intelligence on projects, shutdowns, and maintenance contracts

  • Track upcoming tenders and proactively position the company

  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with estimation and operations teams

  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals

  • Follow up on quotations and ensure timely order closure

  • Coordinate with project teams for smooth project execution

  • Monitor project progress and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Support invoicing and payment follow-ups

  • Develop long-term partnerships with key clients

  • Ensure repeat business and customer retention

  • Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • 4–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Industrial Services within UAE & Oman

  • Proven track record in sales of technical services/products

  • Strong technical knowledge of:

    • Boilers & Thermal Systems

    • Metallic Expansion Bellows

    • Chemical Cleaning Processes

    • Skid Fabrication & Piping Systems

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business acumen with a growth-oriented mindset

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work in a target-driven and high-pressure environment

  • Customer-focused with a solution-selling approach

  • Self-motivated and result-oriented professional

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Mandatory experience in UAE & Oman Oil & Gas market

  • Existing client network will be a strong advantage

  • Familiarity with EPC contractors, refineries, and industrial zones

  • UAE driving license preferred
