Roles & Responsibilities

Job description:

Sales / Business Development officer shall play a key role in driving business growth and expanding market access across the MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa regions.

The role focuses on supporting strategic initiatives for Over-the-Counter (OTC) Food supplements & Prescription medicines (Rx).

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who wish to build a career in healthcare marketing and business development.


Key Responsibilities :

1. Market Expansion & Business Growth

· Assist in identifying new business opportunities across MENA & Sub-Saharan Africa.

· Develop and execute B2B and B2C marketing strategies tailored to regional markets.

· Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and awareness activities in collaboration with Sales & Medical teams.

· Conduct SWOT and competitor analyses to guide business planning.

· Analyze CRM data and KPIs to guide segmentation, strategy, and lead nurturing.


2. Distributor & Partner Management

· Identify, evaluate and onboard new distributors & licensing partners as per the defined territory.

· Maintain relationships with partners to ensure smooth operations and market penetration.

· Assist in negotiating commercial contracts, agreements, and collaborations.


3. Sales & Product Support

· Provide product presentations, sales aids, and promotional materials.

· Conduct training sessions (online & offline) for sales teams and distributors.

· Support sales executives during customer meetings, trade fairs, exhibitions, and webinars.


4. Marketing & Content Development

· Prepare brochures, product profiles, presentations, case studies, and digital content.

· Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements in all marketing activities.

· Work with design agencies, consultants, and medical writers to develop promotional material.


5. Data & CRM Management

· Manage CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and performance metrics.

· Analyze CRM data to guide segmentation, marketing strategies, and lead nurturing.

· Generate regular reports for management review.


6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Regulatory Affairs for smooth product registration and approvals.

· Coordinate with Finance teams on pricing, budgets, and cost-control measures.

· Liaise with Medical teams for scientific marketing and technical content.


7. Commercial & Strategic Planning

· Assist in developing pricing, reimbursement, and distribution strategies for different markets.

· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.

· Contribute to annual revenue planning and monitor achievement of targets.

· Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to stay ahead in the market.


8. Revenue & Target Management

· Set and achieve revenue and growth targets within the assigned regions.

· Ability to develop and maintain short to long-term strategic forecasts and plans to increase efficiency & profit.


9. Education :

· BPharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) along with MBA is MANDATORY.


10. Experience :

· Only Fresh graduates are welcome – Should be motivated individuals aiming to build a career in Healthcare Business Development / Marketing.


11. Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in MS Office mandatory - Excel, PowerPoint, Word - Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Charts, Data Validation, etc.

· Familiarity with CRM systems, data analytics, and digital marketing platforms.


12. Soft Skills :

· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

· Excellent communication, business planner, negotiator, strategic thinking & analytical skills.

· Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

· Proficient in MS Office, data analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms.

· Should have skills to handle sales pressure.

· Ability to work in various time zone on suitable time for international business development.

· Maintain accurate customer databases, record and analyze sales activities, and prepare regular sales reports for management.


13. Language :

· Fluent in English. Arabic is an added advantage.


14. Remuneration :

· Salary : AED 3,000-4,000/Per Month (All inclusive)

· Visa : Employment visa shall be provided once confirmed.
