We work closely with interior designers, architects, consultants, and private villa owners, delivering tailor-made carpet solutions with a strong focus on design, material integrity, and craftsmanship.

Role Overview

The Sales Consultant at KAYRA Bespoke is responsible for driving revenue by acquiring, managing, and closing bespoke carpet projects. This role requires a consultative sales approach, working closely with the design and operations teams to convert enquiries into high-value, well-executed projects.

The Sales Consultant represents KAYRA’s brand, expertise, and service quality in every client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Lead Handling

·       Handle enquiries from:

o   Interior designers

o   Architects

o   Consultants

o   Private villa owners

·       Qualify leads based on:

o   Project scope

o   Budget

o   Timeline

o   Decision-maker

·       Proactively develop new business through:

o   Designer outreach

o   Referrals

o   Client follow-ups

2. Client Consultation & Requirement Understanding

·       Meet clients to understand:

o   Design intent

o   Area coverage

o   Material preferences

o   Budget expectations

·       Guide clients on:

o   Suitable carpet types

o   Materials and finishes

o   Construction techniques

·       Promote full-area and bundled solutions rather than single-rug sales

3. Proposal, Quotation & Closing

·       Coordinate with design and operations teams to:

o   Prepare accurate quotations

o   Ensure scope clarity

·       Present proposals professionally and confidently

·       Handle negotiations while protecting margins

·       Close deals and obtain:

o   Approvals

o   LPOs / POs

o   Advance payments

4. Project Coordination (Sales Perspective)

·       Act as the client’s primary point of contact during:

o   Design approvals

o   Sampling stages

o   Order confirmations

·       Coordinate internally with:

o   Designers

o   Operations team
to ensure smooth handover after order confirmation

5. Follow-Ups & Relationship Management

·       Maintain consistent follow-ups throughout the sales cycle.

·       Build long-term relationships with:

o   Interior designers

o   Consultants

o   Repeat clients

·       Encourage repeat business and referrals

6. Sales Reporting & Targets

·       Maintain an updated sales pipeline

·       Track:

o   Leads

o   Proposals

o   Closures

·       Achieve assigned monthly and annual revenue targets

·       Provide regular sales updates to management


Desired Candidate Profile
