Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Support the sales team in preparing freight quotations for air, sea, and land shipments.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents for rates and shipment updates.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding inquiries, shipment status, and documentation requirements.
Prepare and process sales-related documents, contracts, invoices, and reports.
Follow up on customer inquiries and convert leads into business opportunities.
Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and CRM systems.
Coordinate with operations and customs clearance teams to ensure timely shipment execution.
Assist in achieving monthly sales targets and business development objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Handle administrative support for the sales department.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry.
Good knowledge of import/export procedures, Incoterms, and freight documentation.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/software systems.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
