Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview:

A leading FMCG Company in UAE is looking for the Sales Director to plan, direct and implement sales strategies and programs to achieve sales objectives, increase market share and profitability; manage effectively sales and distribution operations through different channels in FMCG Industry in the UAE; responsible for overall sales strategies and plans, developing the Business Plan and Financial Budgets and Targets for the Brands, Markets and firming up the Departmental Plans in respect of Sales, Marketing, SCM and Finance. The successful incumbent will manage Personal Care, Baby Care, Home Care, Cosmetics & Beauty Brands across UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and implement sales and marketing strategies and programs in line with Annual Business Plan.

· Develop annual operating plans and strategic plans by analyzing sales KPIs and volume targets.

· Manage effectively the sales and distribution operations by proper sales planning, execution and review.

· Enhance the distribution depth, availability and visibility of the products / brands with all existing customers / market.

· Effectively manage the trade marketing and key accounts / channel partners, especially Modern Trade, Traditional Trade and / or Pharmacy Chains.

· Coordinating with the Digital and Social Media Marketing, building the consumer engagement, and collaborating with the media campaigns and ensuring its’ ROI into Sales, etc.

· Lead, Guide and Coach the Sales Team to establish their Sales Targets – brand wise, region wise and monthly / weekly / daily basis, achieve their Sales KPIs, and deliver the business results; build the sales capability of the Team.

· Ensure good relationships with Principals / Suppliers /Distributors and Customers (with special attention to Key Accounts); contribute for IMS growth.

· Manage the sales budget (sales forecast, price strategy, profitability of the brand, P&L, etc.).

· Contribute for profitability and growth of overall Business and Market Expansion.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification and Experience:

· Degree in Business Management / Commerce / Marketing or relevant field.

· 10 Years of FMCG Experience in Sales and Marketing / Business Development in UAE / GCC, out of which at least 5 years should be in a Managerial / Senior Managerial / Country level operations.

· Experience with Modern Trade, Traditional Trade and / or Pharmacy Channels is a must.

· Working knowledge of anyone of the ERPs; Advanced Excel

Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
