Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To direct and manage all commercial activities dedicated to groups, walk-in clients and catering/banquets, with the aim of maximizing hotel revenue
Prepare, utilize, and compile data for business strategy, monthly reports, annual objectives, sales and marketing budgets, forecasts, and other reporting purposes, in accordance with instructions/requirements.
To study, examine, and analyze the competitive environment, market trends, and customer needs and feedback, in order to demonstrate initiative and adapt strategically
Develop new programs and strategies, and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and strategies.
Manage/direct all advertising, public relations and promotional activities jointly with the group's public relations and marketing departments
Actively participate in sales presentations, site visits, and meetings with clients.
Ensure optimal compliance with the group's audit strategy
Managing performance issues that arise within sales and reservation teams
To ensure that the members of the department are hired, trained, motivated, supervised, advised and promoted as appropriate
Communicating effectively with other departments
Meet daily with the department to discuss key activities of the moment
Assess changes in customer needs, customer composition, and the competitive landscape, in order to propose necessary operational and product/service changes, where appropriate.
Ensuring the satisfaction of hotel employees and customers, while remaining competitive in the market and exceptionally financially successful
Anticipating and resolving problems with clients and implementing proactive processes aimed at promoting customer satisfaction.
Participating in professional and community organizations ensures high visibility and promotes a positive image.
To be a source of inspiration for all hotel staff, encouraging them to deliver performances worthy of a luxury establishment.
Interact positively with all team members to ensure that clients receive the welcome expected of a luxury establishment.
Lead by example by strictly adhering to Sofitel values, brand codes, and dress and presentation guidelines.
