We are looking for a driven Sales Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturer and solutions provider in roofing, cladding, and insulation systems, shaping impactful exterior building projects.
This role combines technical knowledge with sales expertise, offering a high potential for success in the growing construction and architectural sectors.
� Key Responsibilities � Drive Sales & Business Growth Identify and engage with construction companies, architects, consultants, and developers for metal cladding and roofing requirements. Actively promote insulated and non-insulated cladding solutions such as sandwich panels and standing-seam roofing, highlighting durability, insulation performance, and aesthetic value. Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that clearly communicate product quality, features, and competitive advantages. � Build Strong Client Relationships Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders across construction and architectural sectors. Provide tailored consultations, recommending the most suitable cladding solutions based on project specifications, design intent, and budget. Offer expert technical guidance on installation methods, maintenance, and product performance. � Manage Projects & Sales Pipeline Proactively track, follow up, and convert leads into confirmed orders. Coordinate closely with order management and production teams to ensure smooth execution, accurate timelines, and on-time deliveries. Prepare and present customized quotations aligned with client requirements and commercial objectives. � Market Insight & Product Expertise Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and innovations in exterior cladding and roofing systems. Monitor competitor activity and pricing to provide informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge. Maintain in-depth knowledge of metal cladding systems, including energy efficiency, weather resistance, and architectural aesthetics. � Achieve Targets & Performance Goals Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs. Provide regular reporting on sales performance, market feedback, and growth opportunities to management. �� Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the marketing team to support targeted campaigns and product promotions. � Qualifications
Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within construction, building materials, metal cladding, or exterior systems.
Hands-on familiarity with metal cladding solutions, sandwich panels, construction practices, and relevant industry standards.
Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand complex technical specifications and translate them into clear, value-driven solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
A background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is highly valued; qualifications in Business, Construction Management, or related fields are an advantage.
