Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The Sales Engineer will manage and co-ordinate all sales and marketing activities primarily Modular Buildings and Living Quarters

  • To actively pursue business growth of the company through the selling of the product within UAE & GCC. This involves calling and visiting potential new client and expanding business with existing ones and travelling as required.

  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

  • To promote the company in line with its standard sales strategies and literature.

  • To arrange, attend/host exhibitions, seminars and conferences relevant to the product line you are selling and promoting.

  • To process enquiry’s received in the proper and timely manner including enquiry files, preparation of quotations, sales follow-up, site visits, sales visits, negotiations etc.

  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity

  • Ensure that customers fulfil all criteria of the contract such as payment, signing of agreements, guarantees etc.

  • To monitor the current market situation and report on projects and general business environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a strong understanding of technical concepts and sales processes.

  • At least 7 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the Oil & Gas Industry - specifically modular building & Prefab modules.

  • Certifications in relevant fields such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Technical Sales Certification are highly desirable.
