Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key food service clients, including restaurants, hotels, and catering companies to drive sales.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food service sector by proactively prospecting and generating leads.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight product benefits and address client needs.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and profitability.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing a sales pipeline and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and building long-term relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, food safety standards, and product knowledge to maintain compliance and credibility.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Possesses 3-5 years of proven sales experience within the food service or related industry is crucial.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of food service distribution channels and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of exceeding sales targets are essential.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client engagement.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues effectively.
  • Must be fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages may be an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory is required.
