Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Showcase and explain product features, designs, and pricing of gold jewellery.

  • Provide accurate information on gold purity, weight, making charges, wastage, and offers.

  • Assist customers in making selections, ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience.

  • Process sales transactions, issue invoices, and handle payment procedures.

  • Ensure proper display, stock arrangement, and cleanliness of the showroom.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current gold rates, new arrivals, and promotional schemes.

  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support with professionalism.

  • Meet individual and team sales targets.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and loss-prevention practices.

  • Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma / Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in jewellery or retail sales (gold/jewellery industry preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of gold purity, hallmarking, weights, and pricing methods.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and regional languages.

  • Good mathematical and calculation skills.

  • Customer-focused attitude with a professional appearance.

  • Ability to work in a team and handle pressure during peak sales hours.
