Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities for elevator, escalator, and moving walk installations, modernizations, and maintenance contracts.
Generate and qualify leads through site visits, client meetings, and market research.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients, consultants, and contractors.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract conditions with customers.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients (developers, contractors, consultants, and facility managers).
Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and follow up on feedback or complaints.
3. Technical Coordination
Coordinate with the engineering and project departments for technical feasibility, costing, and project timelines.
Understand client requirements and propose suitable elevator models, capacities, and specifications.
Review architectural drawings and site conditions to ensure compatibility of elevator solutions.
4. Proposal & Documentation:
Prepare quotations, technical submittals, and tender documents.
Manage pre-qualification, tender participation, and post-tender clarifications.
Maintain records of sales activities, project pipelines, and client interactions in CRM systems.
5. Market Analysis & Strategy
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.
Recommend new sales strategies or product improvements based on market feedback. Participate in marketing events, exhibitions, and client presentations to promote company products.
6. Internal Coordination
Work closely with the installation, service, and finance teams to ensure smooth project handover after sales.
Follow up on payment collections as per contract terms. Attend internal sales meetings and provide regular progress reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field to ensure a solid foundational knowledge of sales principles.
A minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience, particularly in B2B environments, to demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
