Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value key accounts with significant contract values.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the sales cycle and event lifecycle.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve and exceed individual revenue and profit targets.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, renewals, and new business development.
  • Convert prospects into long-term clients through effective relationship building and tailored solutions.

Client Engagement & Consultation

  • Adopt a consultative approach to understand client objectives, marketing goals, and business needs.
  • Conduct research to gain insight into client industries, trends, and market challenges.
  • Develop customized partnership proposals aligned with client objectives and event offerings.

Business Development

  • Proactively identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Build pipelines and develop opportunities into sustainable, long-term relationships.
  • Contribute to the growth of the event portfolio through strategic account expansion.

Event Delivery & Onsite Support

  • Attend events and liaise with exhibitors and sponsors onsite.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are delivered and client expectations are met.
  • Address client queries and resolve issues efficiently during the event period.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with content, marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure alignment.
  • Share client insights and feedback to support overall event strategy and improvement.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented working environment.

Market Awareness

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant market developments.
  • Regularly engage with industry publications and updates relevant to assigned sectors.

Leadership & Team Contribution

  • Support team initiatives and contribute to overall team success.
  • Provide guidance or mentorship to junior team members when required.
  • Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in exhibitions, events, sponsorship sales, or B2B account management.
  • Strong track record of managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
