Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager Sports & Government to join our Commercial Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business opportunities within the sports, government, corporate and group segments, developing strong client relationships and maximizing hotel revenue through strategic sales initiatives. This role requires a highly motivated professional with strong networking, negotiation, and account management skills, preferably with experience in hospitality sales and a strong understanding of the sports and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with government entities, sports organizations, associations and key stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities to increase room nights & meetings revenue.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while actively pursuing new business.
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections and client meetings.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts and market analysis.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events and industry functions.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure smooth coordination between clients and hotel operations teams.
- Work closely with Revenue, Events and Marketing teams to achieve commercial objectives.
- Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in hospitality sales, preferably in sports and government segments in UAE Market.
- Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and business trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
