Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our Fire Protection Systems sales operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of fire protection products and services, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in B2B technical sales. This role involves developing new business, managing key client relationships, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to deliver comprehensive fire protection solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives in the fire protection market.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and support.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, facility managers, and decision-makers.
- Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, project management, and service) to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Stay up-to-date on industry codes, standards (NFPA, UL, FM), and regulations affecting fire protection systems.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 8+ years of sales experience in fire protection systems, building safety, or MEP industries.
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, suppression systems, and life safety solutions.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a technical or construction-related environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- NICET certification (preferred but not required).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
