Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Promote and sell industrial automation solutions including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), MCC (Motor Control Centers), SCADA systems, VFD (Variable Frequency Drives), and industrial instrumentation.
- Identify and develop new customers, markets, and applications in sectors such as water, oil & gas, power, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
- Understand client requirements and prepare suitable technical-commercial proposals, presentations, and quotations.
- Conduct site visits, technical discussions, and product demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams to provide accurate and timely information to clients.
- Follow up on leads, enquiries, and submitted proposals to convert into successful orders.
- Maintain strong post-sale relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends and provide feedback to the management.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to represent the company and generate leads.
- Maintain proper documentation, records of sales activities, and prepare periodic sales reports
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working with automation brands like Siemens, Schneider, GE, Allen-Bradley, ABB, etc.
- Familiarity with tendering process and project execution lifecycle.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and client-oriented approach.
