Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (BO) Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize reporting and analytics solutions for critical banking functions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BO tools, data warehousing concepts, SQL, and reporting for regulatory, risk, and financial operations within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize SAP BO reports, dashboards, universes, and interactive documents (WebI, Crystal Reports, Lumira).

  • Build and enhance BO universes using IDT/UDT, including data modelling, joins, hierarchies, and security profiles.

  • Develop automated, scheduled reporting solutions for banking operations and compliance teams.

Minimum Experience:

  • WebI, Crystal Reports, Universe Design (IDT/UDT), BO Dashboards, BI Launchpad

  • Strong SQL skills in banking datasets (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2).

  • Experience with BI migration tools, query conversion, and report modernization.

  • Familiarity with DWH concepts (Star/Snowflake schema, OLAP/OLTP).

  • Experience integrating BO with core banking systems (T24, Flexcube, Finacle, etc.).

Desired Candidate Profile

5-8 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects(Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, IDT/UDT, BO Dashboards).

Experience working with large banking datasets, DWH systems, and OLAP/OLTP concepts.

Experience with BI authentication and security setup (roles, row-level security).

Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, etc.).

Understanding of Core Banking Systems and data structures.

Analyze existing reports/dashboards and redesign them for optimal performance on the new platform.

Conduct impact assessment, gap analysis, and migration planning.

Work with business users from Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Cards, Treasury etc.

4 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects:
