Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP PPQM PM SME Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules to deliver end-to-end solutions. You will act as a subject matter expert (SME), working with clients to optimize manufacturing, quality assurance, and plant maintenance processes using SAP S/4HANA and related technologies.

Job responsibilities

  1. Implementation & Configuration: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PP, QM, and PM modules in SAP S/4HANA or ECC, ensuring alignment with client business processes and objectives.
  2. Consultation & Process Optimization: Provide expert consultation on best practices for Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM), analyzing clients existing processes and recommending improvements using SAP solutions.
  3. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients to understand business requirements, map them to SAP capabilities, and propose tailored solutions to address their production, quality, and maintenance needs.
  4. Integration & Customization: Oversee the integration of SAP PP, QM, and PM modules with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO) and third-party applications, ensuring seamless end-to-end business processes.
  5. Testing & UAT Support: Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting activities to validate system configurations and ensure the solution meets client requirements.
  6. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Provide training to business users on SAP PP, QM, and PM processes, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and high adoption of the solution.
  7. Data Migration & Change Management: Support data migration from legacy systems to SAP and assist in change management activities to ensure smooth transitions during system upgrades or new implementations.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess system performance and work with clients to implement optimizations in SAP PP, QM, and PM, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality control.
  9. Project Management Support: Support project managers with project planning, scope definition, timeline management, and overall project delivery for SAP implementations.
  10. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, process flows, and changes to ensure smooth handover to operational teams and facilitate future audits.
