School Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team, working with our third party service provider. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff, while contributing to a positive and caring school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the school doctor with clinic duties.
• Provide first aid, emergency care, and routine health assessments to students and staff.
• Manage the school clinic, ensuring a clean, safe, and organised environment.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with DHA and school policies.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation.
• Monitor students with chronic health conditions and develop care plans where required.
• Liaise with parents, staff, and leadership regarding health concerns or incidents.
• Support school-wide health awareness initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations and inspections.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter (School Nurse category).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience in a school or paediatric setting preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and professionally.
