Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall operations of the British School, fostering an environment of high standards and academic achievement.

  • Implement and oversee the British curriculum, ensuring it meets the educational needs of students and aligns with the school's vision.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to enhance instructional practices and promote professional development.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with students, parents, and the community, building positive relationships and partnerships.
  • Analyze student performance data to inform instructional strategies and improve educational outcomes.
  • Manage the school budget and allocate resources wisely to support student learning and school initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with educational policies, regulations, and standards, maintaining the school's accreditation status.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity and support for all students, addressing diverse learning needs and promoting equity.
  • Lead school improvement initiatives that enhance educational practices and student experiences.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Education, Administration or a related field (Master s degree preferred).

  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an educational setting, particularly within British education systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the British curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering a positive school culture and improving student outcomes.
  • Experience with data analysis for informed decision-making in an academic setting.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusivity and support for all learners.
  • Eligibility for a principal certification or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
