Roles & Responsibilities

Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for a Secondary Math Teacher for the Academic Year 2PHONE_NUMBER at GEMS British International School Of Madinaty. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and motivate students while delivering a comprehensive and engaging mathematics curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective lesson plans that meet the requirements of the curriculum for Secondary Mathematics.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and reinforce their understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback that supports their academic growth.
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world applications of mathematics in the classroom.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and enthusiasm for mathematics.
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents about academic progress and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
  • Support school-wide initiatives and contribute to a cooperative learning community.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification with an emphasis on Secondary Education is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Secondary Mathematics.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum and current educational best practices in mathematics instruction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships with students and parents.
  • A passion for teaching mathematics and a commitment to fostering students' academic growth.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and collaboration with peers.
