Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded and forward-thinking British curriculum school in the heart of Dubai. The school delivers the National Curriculum for England across its secondary phase, maintaining high academic standards within a vibrant, inclusive, and professionally stimulating environment. This is a school with a clear vision and a genuine commitment to innovation. It invests in its staff, embraces current pedagogical thinking, and expects its teachers to be active contributors to a thriving Professional Learning Community. If you are a Physics educator who is as passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientific thinkers as you are about your subject, and who wants to work somewhere that genuinely values your contribution, this could be an outstanding next step in your career.

Dubai is one of the world s most exciting and dynamic cities, offering an exceptional quality of life for international educators and their families. With year-round sunshine, world-class infrastructure, outstanding leisure and dining facilities, and a vibrant and diverse expat community, Dubai consistently ranks among the best cities in the world in which to live and work. The city is extremely well connected globally, and offers a lifestyle that is genuinely difficult to match anywhere else. Add to that a tax-free salary and a comprehensive benefits package, and it is easy to understand why so many teachers who come to Dubai choose to stay.

To thrive in this role, you will be an outstanding Physics practitioner who combines deep subject knowledge with a genuine passion for teaching and an ability to make complex scientific concepts accessible, engaging, and relevant to young people. You will have a proven ability to design and deliver innovative, well-structured lessons that are rooted in current pedagogical thinking and enriched by the thoughtful use of digital tools. You will be data-informed and outcomes-focused, with a clear track record of raising attainment and supporting every student to reach their potential, whether they are aiming for the top grades at GCSE or aspiring to pursue Physics beyond the classroom. Equally important is your collaborative spirit, you will contribute actively to the school s Professional Learning Community, work effectively across departments, and share a genuine commitment to the school s vision, mission, and values. You will be reflective, curious, and deeply motivated by the opportunity to grow professionally alongside a talented and dedicated team.
