Roles & Responsibilities
As a Security Supervisor for our resort hotel, you will take on a pivotal role in leading and supervising the security team to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property. Your expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the success of our hospitality operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of security officers, providing guidance and support. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence within the security department.
- Security Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring compliance with established protocols. Conduct regular briefings and debriefings with the security team.
- Training and Development: Provide training to security personnel on procedures, protocols, and customer service. Identify areas for improvement and implement ongoing training programs.
- Patrols and Surveillance: Conduct regular security patrols to monitor and maintain a visible presence. Supervise the operation of CCTV and surveillance systems.
- Incident Response: Lead responses to security incidents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct thorough investigations of security-related incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Access Control: Oversee access control systems, managing permissions and restrictions. Ensure proper verification of individuals accessing restricted areas.
- Collaboration with Departments: Collaborate with other hotel departments to integrate security measures seamlessly. Address security-related concerns and inquiries from guests and staff.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security management are a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role in security, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. Ability to motivate and inspire a security team.
- Training and Development: Experience in developing and delivering security training programs.
- Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of local and national security regulations.
- Physical Aspects of Position:
- Ability to actively supervise security operations and respond to incidents effectively.
