As a Security Threat and Risk Officer, you will be responsible for conducting security risk assessments and providing insights to support formation of mitigation strategies for Emirates Group operations. Investigate and evaluate incidents and security measures, collaborate on crisis plans, providing findings to the specialist. The role ensures proactive risk management and upholding high security standards company-wide.
In this role, you will;
- Monitor and analyse geopolitical developments of relevance and security information received through various internal reporting channels and other open closed sources.
- Conduct security risk analyses for all relevant aspects of Emirates and dnatas operation including passenger cargo overflights crew layovers facility and town office security.
- Prepare and publish security alerts and advisories to safeguard Emirates crew and staff during ongoing security incidents and or upcoming events.
- Generate data driven reports that help pre-empt security incidents and safeguard Emirates operations and assets.
- Review manage and operate the company s security intelligence tools
- Assess and categorise security incident reports based on risk levels and maintain active security risk and control registers
- Assist other Group Security and EK departments in drafting appropriate security procedures and protocols that effectively reduce security risks identified
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements.
- A bachelor s degree or Honours (12+3 or Equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 Years experience in Security / Risk Management / Intelligence analysis
- Proven experience in threat and risk assessment, preferably in a corporate or government setting.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex information and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and information sharing.
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies, protocols, and best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to security and risk management.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP
