Burson is seeking a talented Senior Account Executive to join our vibrant Government & Public Affairs team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping narratives and delivering impactful results for our diverse portfolio of UAE Government clients.
What you'll do:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering high-quality client service and day-to-day account management.
- Create and edit high-quality content including press releases, media Q&As, briefing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Build and maintain strong media relationships, pitch stories, and identify relevant news hooks aligned with client KPIs.
- Support media monitoring, monthly and quarterly reporting, and provide analysis and insights on coverage performance.
- Prepare weekly status reports and support with client counsel and strategic support.
- Contribute to new business research, ideas, and development of pitch decks.
- Stay informed on AI tools and best practices, applying them responsibly in line with WPP guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations, supporting UAE or GCC government client accounts and campaigns. Existing media contacts and demonstrated experience pitching to journalists within the UAE and GCC. Excellent organisation, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with experience in monitoring, reporting, and performance evaluation of campaigns. Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders. A proactive, ambitious team player with the ability to work autonomously and lead by example. Bi-lingual Arabic & English highly desired.
