Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and review financial statements; maintain general ledger and reconciliations.

  2. Handle daily sales reconciliation (POS), inventory accounting, and COGS.

  3. Manage accounts payable/receivable, collections, and vendor payments.

  4. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

  5. Please ensure VAT compliance and timely filing under UAE regulations.

  6. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  7. Maintain internal controls and assist in audits.

  8. Oversee payroll review and expense management.

  9. Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure ERP accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred).

  2. 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.

  3. Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, POS reconciliation, and multi-branch operations.

  4. Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.

  5. Proficient in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.

  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  7. Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

  8. Good communication skills and team management experience.

  9. Also, a person who can work independently with minimal supervision.
