Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a real estate brokerage company.
Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, petty cash, journal entries, and month-end closing.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier payments, customer invoices, collections, and reconciliations.
Prepare commission calculations, agent commission reconciliations, and brokerage income reports.
Track property transactions, client payments, deposits, and commission receivables.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, receivables, payables, and management reports.
Ensure accurate VAT treatment for real estate brokerage transactions and prepare VAT returns and supporting schedules.
Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance, documentation, and coordination with tax consultants. Manage WPS payroll processing in line with UAE/MOHRE requirements.
Maintain proper records for audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.
Monitor cash flow and prepare regular cash flow reports for management.
Maintain organized accounting documentation and ensure all records are audit-ready.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, FTA regulations, and company policies.
Handle accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar ERP systems.
Support AML/CFT compliance procedures, including KYC documentation, transaction monitoring, risk assessment, and goAML reporting when required.
Prepare internal reports related to sales performance, agent performance, collections, outstanding receivables, and operational expenses.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
ACCA, CPA, CMA, or similar professional qualification is preferred or currently in progress.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a real estate brokerage or property-related company in the UAE.
Must have UAE experience.
Real estate brokerage accounting experience is a must.
Experience with VAT filing, corporate tax support, payroll, and audit coordination is required.
Experience with goAML, AML compliance, KYC, or compliance reporting is required.
Candidate must be able to work independently and take ownership of the full accounting function. Must be confident in preparing reports for management and supporting financial decision-making.
Preferred candidates should be currently based in the UAE and available to join within a reasonable notice period.
