Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A 35-year-old Dubai-based property management company is looking for an Accountant- UAE NATIONAL (MUST) with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team in Dubai. Accounting Duties: • Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, expense tracking, and general ledger entries. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. • Process payroll and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations. • Handle VAT filings and other regulatory submissions in compliance with UAE standards. • Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy. • Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts • Analysing financial data and providing financial recommendations • Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards • Generating financial reports • Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support • Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents • Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, UAE VAT regulations, and statutory compliance. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
