Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and oversee VAT and Corporate Tax compliance for a portfolio of clients.
Prepare, review, and file VAT returns, Corporate Tax returns, and related tax submissions.
Ensure clients’ compliance with UAE tax laws, FTA regulations, and deadlines.
Handle VAT registration, deregistration, amendments, and FTA correspondence.
Assist in tax advisory matters and provide practical tax solutions to clients.
Support clients during FTA audits, assessments, and clarifications.
Review accounting records to ensure tax accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with internal accounting teams to resolve tax-related issues.
Keep up to date with changes in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Liaise directly with clients and manage multiple engagements independently.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong knowledge of Accounting, VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax.
Thorough understanding of UAE tax regulations and FTA guidelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Experience with cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus.
Interest and exposure to transfer pricing / digital tax frameworks will be a plus.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CPA, etc.) are an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of total experience, with at least 2 years in a UAE based consulting firm.
