Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure and scalable smart contracts on the XRPL network, ensuring efficient and reliable token functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain digital asset tokenization solutions, including issuance, management, and trading mechanisms on the Ripple blockchain.
  • Lead the integration of XRPL-based solutions with existing systems, focusing on APIs and data exchange protocols.
  • Optimize transaction performance and gas efficiency within the XRPL ecosystem, reducing operational costs.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, ensuring the security of all tokenized assets.
  • Research and evaluate new XRPL features and updates, integrating them to enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in blockchain technology, particularly within the Ripple and XRPL frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define and refine technical requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of distributed systems.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain technologies, specifically Ripple and XRPL.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying smart contracts using Solidity, or similar languages on the XRPL.
  • Deep understanding of XRPL consensus mechanisms, transaction processing, and ledger architecture.
  • Experience with digital asset tokenization, including the creation, management, and trading of tokens.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, with experience in RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with various blockchain development tools such as Ripple's CLI, and other relevant SDKs, and IDEs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, agile environment.
