Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements from diverse stakeholders.
- Business Process Analysis: Map, evaluate, and optimize workflows to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
- Testing & Validation: Participate in UAT planning and execution, ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed requirements.
- Change Management: Support impact assessments, communication, and adoption strategies for system or process changes.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, process models, and reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct workshops, presentations, and meetings to align expectations and outcomes.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and peer reviews for junior business analysts.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote the use of BA standards, methodologies, and tools (Agile, Waterfall, BPM).
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, governance frameworks, and information security standards.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of business process modelling techniques, with proficiency in BPMN (latest version) and UML.
- Experience with process automation tools (e.g., Camunda, Nintex K2, etc.).
- Understanding of application integration requirements, APIs, and enterprise data flows.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar.
- Familiarity with testing practices, UAT, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Strong ability to produce professional Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and process models with excellent written communication skills.
- Understanding of enterprise applications, APIs, and data analysis fundamentals.
- Familiarity with testing practices, UAT, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, practices, and tools
Required Experience
- Minimum of 4–5 years of business analysis experience with strong exposure to large-scale IT and digital transformation projects.
- Proven track record in requirement elicitation, stakeholder management, and process modeling.
- Experience working in higher education environments, with knowledge of student information systems, learning management systems, and related academic/administrative processes.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, enterprise applications, and project delivery.
- Experience in process optimization, automation, and integration across enterprise platforms
