Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Cloud Architect/ Lead to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cloud adoption strategies including migration of existing systems to cloud platforms
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems
- Evaluate cloud providers and services, recommending best-fit solutions
- Define cloud architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Conduct cost analysis and optimize cloud spending
- Document cloud architectures, workflows, and policies
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and trends
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to automate and streamline operations
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8 - 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 6+ years in cloud architecture roles
- Proven experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies including containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and microservices
- Expertise in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud security
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Cloud Watch)
- Knowledge of data storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions in cloud environments.
Nice to have
- Cloud certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures is a plus
- Ability to lead complex cloud migration and modernization projects
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
