Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budget
  • Develop and maintain cost tracking systems
  • Analyze and report on cost variances
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with project teams to forecast and track costs
  • Prepare cost estimates for new projects
  • Review and approve invoices and contracts
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure cost control measures are being followed
  • Provide cost analysis and reporting to management

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cost control

  • Certification in cost engineering or related field is preferred

  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in cost control software and tools

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
