Senior Cost Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities: Project comprises mainly Infrastructure Works (Roads & Bridges), and the Sr. Cost Engineer to involve Pre-Contract and Post- Contract duties, including:

• Cost Estimating and Cost Planning
• Budgeting and Cost Control
• Cost Forecasting and Reporting
• Preparation of Tender / RFP Documents
• Tender Analysis
• Contract Administration
• Valuation of Contractors Payment Applications
• Valuation of Variations
• Attending meetings and preparing Minutes of Meeting
• Handling correspondences relevant to Cost and Contract
• Oversee Cost Engineer s works
• Coordination with Client, Consultants and Contractors

Skills:

• Work experience in large-scale Infrastructure Projects (Roads & Bridges)
• Ability to create accurate cost estimates for projects based on data analysis and historical information.
• Expertise in developing, managing, and monitoring budgets to ensure projects stay within financial limits.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret cost data and identify trends, variances, and areas for cost savings.
• Proficiency in preparing cost reports and forecasts.
• Skills in assessing and mitigating cost risks associated with projects.
• Preparation of Tender Documents
• Tender Analysis
• Ability to negotiate with contractors
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all cost documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with cost estimating and reporting software, mainly CostX

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• 12 14 years
