Senior Data Center Administrator German University in Cairo

Operate and supervise data centers and network rooms.

Monitor and control temperature, humidity, airflow, and environmental sensors (smoke, water leakage, air quality).

Manage power infrastructure including UPS systems, battery strings, ATS switches, power regulators, power distribution, and backup generators.

Execute and document generator drills, power failover tests, and UPS/battery health checks.

Operate and maintain cooling systems and ensure capacity meets load requirements.

Oversee fire detection and suppression systems and lead emergency and fire-fighting drills.

Enforce cleanliness standards, coordinate deep cleaning, and maintain physical room integrity.

Monitor facility infrastructure, act as escalation owner for incidents, and perform root cause analysis.

Participate in capacity planning and sizing for power, cooling, and space.

Control maintenance schedules and report operational status and risks to the Head of Infrastructure.
