Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager – Data & Analytics to lead delivery of the Data, Reporting, and Integration streams within a large-scale Core Banking Migration. This role requires deep expertise in banking data domains, strong hands-on delivery management skills, and detailed working knowledge of core banking systems to ensure accurate, compliant, and scalable data solutions.

The role will act as the bridge between core banking, data platforms, and downstream consumers, ensuring data correctness, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Analytics Delivery (Primary Focus)

• Own end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics workstreams within the Core Banking transformation.

• Manage delivery of:

o Enterprise, operational, and regulatory reporting

o Analytical data marts and consumption layers

o Data validation, reconciliation, and controls

• Lead the transition from legacy DWH to a modern data platform, including execution of the DWH demise strategy.

Core Banking Data Expertise

• Provide deep domain oversight of Oracle Flexcube data models, transactions, products, and accounting flows.

• Ensure accurate sourcing of data from Flexcube for downstream systems.

• Support data mapping, transformation logic, and reconciliation during migration and cutover.

• Act as a subject-matter lead for core banking data-related decisions.

Integration & Real-Time Data Processing

• Manage delivery of batch, near-real-time, and real-time data pipelines.

• Oversee CDC and replication using GoldenGate.

• Drive event streaming and real-time integrations using Kafka.

• Ensure data consistency across upstream and downstream systems.

Technology & Platform Oversight

• Work closely with architecture and engineering teams across:

o Hadoop-based data platforms

o Azure cloud data services

o Streaming, ingestion, and transformation frameworks

• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and data quality standards are met.

BI, Reporting & Consumption

• Oversee delivery of dashboards and reports using Qlik and Power BI.

• Ensure alignment between operational reports, regulatory submissions, and management MIS.

• Manage UAT and business sign-offs for analytics deliverables.

Delivery & Governance

• Own detailed delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and risks for Data & Analytics.

• Track progress across multiple vendors and internal teams.

• Drive issue resolution and decision-making forums.

• Provide clear and concise delivery updates to senior stakeholders.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate across core banking, finance, risk, compliance, and business teams.

• Manage System Integrators and data platform vendors.

• Support steering committees and program governance structures.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• 20+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services technology

• At least one full Core Banking Migration, with direct involvement in data and reporting

• Strong hands-on knowledge of:

o Oracle Flexcube (data structures, transactions, interfaces)

o Data Warehousing & Analytics platforms

o Regulatory and MIS reporting

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of:

o Hadoop ecosystems

o Azure data services

o Kafka

o GoldenGate

o Qlik

o Power BI

Delivery Management

• Proven experience delivering large-scale Data & Analytics programs

• Strong command of Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid delivery models

• Excellent risk, dependency, and stakeholder management skills

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work in high-pressure, high-visibility transformation programs

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving mindset
