Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure on Oracle OCI Cloud using modern GitOps and service mesh practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on OCI Cloud.

Implement service mesh solutions using Istio.

Manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.

Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Implement and enforce cluster policies using Kyverno.

Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.

Troubleshoot production issues and improve observability.

Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams for smooth releases.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and operations.

Expertise in Istio (traffic management, security, observability).

Proficiency in ArgoCD for GitOps automation.

Solid experience in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Practical experience in Oracle OCI Cloud services.

Knowledge of Kyverno policy management.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Harbor Image Registry.

Knowledge of Coroot for monitoring/troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with MinIO object storage.

Exposure to message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Familiarity with MongoDB.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Relevant certifications in Kubernetes or cloud platforms (preferred).
