Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary escalation point for all DXC Assure V4 and Assure Health platform incidents and service requests
  • Lead end-to-end product configuration and setup activities on the Assure Health platform, including benefit plan setup, product rules, tariff structures, member eligibility configurations, etc
  • Design, implement, and govern configuration management processes to ensure all platform setups are version-controlled, tested, and documented
  • Assist business units to optimize and streamline operations using capabilities of the platform
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for P1/P2 incidents and implement permanent corrective actions
  • Oversee Microsoft SQL Server database administration tasks including query optimisation, stored procedure review, index management, and performance tuning in support of platform operations
  • Architect and govern ETL processes for data migration, member onboarding, claims feeds, and third-party integrations; review and approve ETL job designs produced by the team
  • Collaborate with DXC vendor teams on release management, platform upgrades, hotfix deployments, and configuration migrations across environments
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to mid-level and junior support engineers on SQL, ETL, and Assure Health configuration best practices
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, configuration guides, and technical knowledge base documentation
  • Coordinate with internal business stakeholders (Health Operations, Finance, Underwriting, Claims) on system changes and new product launches
  • Participate in change reviews, and user requirement analysis for platform-impacting configuration and infrastructure changes
  • Ensure compliance with information security policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to health insurance data

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong knowledge of health insurance domain processes including policy administration, benefits management, member enrolment, claims processing, and provider networks
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server — complex query writing, stored procedures, views, performance tuning, SQL Server Agent job management, and SSMS
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS ETL tool for data migration, transformation, and integration pipeline development and monitoring
  • Experience with ITSM platforms and ITIL incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure, REST APIs, SFTP-based file exchanges, and middleware integration patterns
  • Microsoft Azure certifications will be an added advantage
  • ITIL v4 certification will be an added advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage C-level stakeholders and translate technical detail into business impact
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Composed under pressure; effective incident commander during high-severity platform outages
  • Collaborative leadership style; able to influence without direct authority across technical and business teams
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement and automation mindset
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to rigorous documentation and knowledge sharing
