Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

UAE Experience Mandatory

As part of our strategic expansion at LECS, we are looking to onboard a technically strong and mature Senior Electrical Engineer with solid UAE consultancy experience.

This is not a routine design role.
We require someone with analytical capability, assessment expertise, and authority coordination experience.

Project Scope Includes:

  • Electrical retrofit and system upgrades

  • Conditional assessments of commercial buildings

  • Fire damage technical evaluation reports

  • Expansion and compliance-driven redesign

  • Authority coordination with DEWA, DCD, and Dubai Municipality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed electrical system condition assessments

  • Prepare professional technical reports with clear recommendations

  • Develop retrofit designs and load analysis

  • Prepare BOQs, specifications, and compliance documentation

  • Handle authority submissions and technical clarifications

  • Review contractor shop drawings and technical submittals

  • Support client technical discussions and presentations


Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory Profile:

  • 8–12 years total experience (strictly not exceeding 15 years)

  • Minimum 5 years UAE consultancy background (non-contracting)

  • Strong understanding of local codes and DEWA/DCD requirements

  • Experience in retrofit and assessment projects

  • Strong analytical and report writing capability

  • Able to independently handle authority coordination

  • Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)

Not Suitable For:

  • Pure contracting/site-only engineers

  • Junior engineers

  • Candidates without UAE authority exposure
