about the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ELV Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage systems, including security and surveillance systems, in compliance with Qatar regulations. The candidate able to demonstrate strong knowledge of ELV systems used in commercial and residential projects.



what you will do?

Lead and manage ELV projects, including design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Design and supervise the implementation of systems such as: CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm Systems, Public Address, Audio/Video Intercom, Structured Cabling Systems, Fire Alarm & BMS (in coordination with respective teams)

Ensure compliance with local codes, standards (QCDD, MOI), and international best practices.

Liaise with consultants, contractors, and authorities for project approvals and inspections.

Review and validate ELV shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical specifications.

Conduct site inspections, FAT/SAT, and ensure quality and timely delivery.

Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians.

Handle documentation for MOI-SSD submissions and approvals.


what you will need?

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in ELV systems engineering, with at least 5 years in Qatar.

MOI-SSD approved engineer.

PMP or similar project management certification

UPDA/MMUP Engineering Registration

Strong knowledge of security systems design and integration.

Familiarity with QCDD, Kahramaa, and local authority procedures.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ELV-related design software.

Experience in smart building technologies or IoT-based security solutions

Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
