Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- WIll Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, encompassing all aspects from initial design to final completion.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage the complete tendering process, including subcontractor selection, negotiation, and contract preparation, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Oversee cost control throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring expenses, identifying variations, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate progress claims, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and maximizing cash flow.
- Provide expert advice on cost-effective construction methods and materials, optimizing project value and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the interior fit-out sector.
- Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports and financial forecasts to senior management, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates 8+ years of progressive experience in quantity surveying and estimating, with a strong focus on interior fit-out projects.
- Exhibits in-depth knowledge of interior fit-out materials, systems, and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in using relevant estimating software, such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrates exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Exhibits a proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide others.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus, such as Arabic.
